Classic Chevrolet Camaro Z06 by Chevrolet Performance [SEMA 2015]
This beautiful car was created in order to show off Chevrolet Performance’s latest addition to their crate engines range which can be originally found under the bonnet of the Corvette Z06.
The supercharged 6.2-Litre V8 produces 650hp and 650lb.ft of torque and is offered both in dry-sump and wet-sump versions, giving builders the flexibility needed for their projects.
Finished in Hyper Blue Metallic with White Rally stripes, this classic Camaro wears 19-inch polished aluminum wheels which hide a set of modern ZO6 brakes. A set of LED headlamps and tail lights complete the exterior while the cabin features custom-trimmed seats from a third-generation Camaro and custom gauges under a leather-trimmed panel that work with the modern powertrain. There is also a six-point roll cage for added protection.
This restomodded Camaro is using the wet-sump version as well as an air-conditioning system and modern suspension components. The chassis overhaul includes a new independent front suspension, a rack-and-pinion steering system and a rear four-link suspension setup with coil-overs all-around. A T-56 Super Magnum six-speed manual gearbox is bolted on the LT4 engine.
