Hennessey Performance released its tuning program for the C7 Corvette.
Hennessey will also offer five different Stingray packages starting with the HPE500 (currently being developed) that builds on the naturally aspirated V8 to bring output up to 500-horses. The 600HP HPE600 and 700HP HPE700 use an Eaton TVS R2300 supercharger system, while the 800HP HPE800 and the monstrous 1,000HP HPE1000 are fitted with dual turbochargers among other upgrades.
Hennessey Performance’s optional goods extend to the Corvette Stingray’s aerodynamics and looks with carbon fiber spoilers, skirts and diffuser and 10-spoke H10 alloys shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Later on, the tuner will also release upgrades for the interior, a coilover suspension system utilizing Penske double-adjustable shocks and Brembo brakes with carbon-ceramic rotors.
(story from Carscoops)
The VelociRaptor is about 600 pounds or 272kg heavier than the F-150 Raptor, and while you can stick with the stock 6.2-liter 411bhp V8, Hennessey offers an optional performance package that drops a supercharger into the engine bay boosting output to 600 horsepower.
In base trim, the $149,500 and 411hp VelociRaptor completes the 0-60 mph (96km/h) sprint in a respectable 7.5 seconds, while the 600 Supercharged upgrade will drop the time to a sports car-challenging 5.9 seconds.
